Course Description

An Azure Administrator often serves as part of a larger team dedicated to implementing an organization’s cloud infrastructure. Azure Administrators also coordinate with other roles to deliver Azure networking, security, database, application development, and DevOps solutions.

This course will prepare learners for the Microsoft Exam AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator, with modules dedicated to Azure identity and governance, implement and manage storage, deploy and manage Azure compute resources, configure and manage virtual networking, monitor and maintain Azure resources.

  • Online,self-paced instruction, with live office hours.
  • 4 weeks, 20 hrs/week, online instruction.
  • Includes weekly assignments, hands-on labs.

Recommendations:

  1. Prior completion of AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals exam.
  2. Additionally, successful Azure Administrators start this role with experience in operating systems, virtualization cloud infrastructure, and networking.
  3. Learners should understand network configuration (including TCP/IP), Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls and encryption technologies.
  4. Learners should understand Active Directory Concepts, such as users, groups, and role-based access control.
  5. Learners should understand resilience and data recovery, including backup and restore operations.

Credentials:

This course prepares learners for the AZ-104 exam and the Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate badge/certification.
