Course Description

This bootcamp is designed to prepare learners for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification, a globally recognized credential offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The bootcamp fulfills the 23 contact hours requirement, qualifying participants to sit for the CAPM® exam. Through coverage of essential principles, terminology, and processes, this course prepares learners with project management foundational knowledge. The bootcamp further prepares learners for the CAPM® certification, by developing the skills needed to handle core project management challenges.

Course Outline

The course is self-paced with instructor support.  

  • Weekly check-ins and online office hours are available.
  • Support from full-time UC instructors and teaching assistant(s).
  • No pre-recorded videos.
  • Access to online course materials.
  • Self-paced modules, no class meeting times.

Learner Outcomes

The learners who complete this bootcamp prepare for the globally recognized Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®. Learners develop knowledge, skill, and understanding of the project management process including:

  • Terminology.
  • Best practices in project management fundamentals.
  • Agile principles and business analysis.
