Course Description

With CompTIA Tech+, learners can jumpstart their careers with a deeper understanding of tech fundamentals, future-proof their existing skillset with practical tech knowledge, and better navigate the digital economy with a broad range of tech basics. This course requires learners to spend 40 hours per week on the material covered to adequately prepare for the credentialing exam. CompTIA Tech+ is a lifelong certification, validating technical knowledge for both non-IT learners, and for individuals just getting started in their IT careers. This course prepares learners for the CompTIA Tech+ (Exam FC0-U71) certification examination, taken independently outside the bootcamp. The course utilizes a learning progression model to help individuals learn and build skills related to the course objectives and the early-career job opportunities. This learning methodology uses a series of steps that contextualizes IT scenarios, elaborates on areas where additional instruction is needed, and provides relevance through practice and personalized feedback. Learners then apply what they have learned and demonstrate the skills they have gained.
