Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a chronic viral infection that targets the immune system and requires lifelong antiretroviral therapy. This continuing pharmacy education activity reviews current updates in HIV pharmacotherapy, including mechanisms of action of antiretroviral agents, clinically significant drug–drug interactions, and emerging therapies in the treatment pipeline. The program is designed to support healthcare professionals in optimizing HIV treatment and improving patient outcomes.

Requirements:

Credit requirements must be completed before the expiration date of the activity. Participants must watch the video in its entirety, complete all evaluations and complete a post-test with a score of 80% or higher. In addition, participants must complete all the steps found in the "Complete Credit Requirements" link provided by the LecturePanda registration confirmation email. After following the link, these steps will include: reviewing the course learning materials, confirming information provided on registration, claiming participation in applicable credits and completing all listed evaluations and quizzes.
