CE-25PA1017X - Hypertension Updates
This continuing education activity reviews the updated 2025 guidelines for the prevention, detection, evaluation, and management of hypertension (HTN) in adults. Learners will examine blood pressure screening methods, diagnostic criteria, cardiovascular risk assessment, and treatment goals based on current clinical recommendations. The activity also explores nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic approaches to HTN management, including lifestyle interventions, medication selection, monitoring, and patient-specific considerations. Leaners will enhance their ability to recommend individualized, evidence-based strategies to optimize blood pressure control and reduce cardiovascular risk.

Learner Outcomes
Pharmacists who complete the course can expect the following learning outcomes:
- Summarize current guidelines for prevention, detection, evaluation, and management of hypertension (HTN) in adults.
- Describe nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic treatments for HTN.
- Recommend appropriate nonpharmacologic strategies and pharmacologic agents for patients with HTN.

Requirements:
Credit requirements must be completed before the expiration date of the activity. Participants must watch the video in its entirety, complete all evaluations and complete a post-test with a score of 80% or higher. In addition, participants must complete all the steps found in the "Complete Credit Requirements" link provided by the LecturePanda registration confirmation email. After following the link, these steps will include: reviewing the course learning materials, confirming information provided on registration, claiming participation in applicable credits and completing all listed evaluations and quizzes.
