Course Description
In collaboration with the experts and skilled instructors at World Peace Yoga Studio in Clifton, we are offering two different yoga classes. You may bring your own mat or use one from the studio. Please ensure you verify the date, time, and class type for each class before enrolling.
Yoga Basics for Stress Relief
New to yoga? Interested in relieving stress and anxiety? Would you like to increase strength and flexibility? Might you like to experience greater inner peace and improve your mental, physical, and emotional well-being? Then this class is for YOU! Learn foundational yoga postures that assist in enhancing body awareness while accessing the benefits of yoga in a relaxing atmosphere with soothing music. Everybody is welcome! No experience required.
Beginner Yoga Class with balance of standing, forward bending, twisting, backhanding, and relaxing poses.
Vin to Yin Restorative Yoga
This class is a combination of Vinyasa Yoga and Yin-Restorative Yoga. It includes both active and passive movements and stretches to strengthen and restore your body. The first half of class is focused on active postures and strengthening (vinyasa) and the second half of class is focused on passive restorative stretching (yin). Expect a balanced posture practice complete with deep relaxation. Open to all levels. Beginners welcome.
30 minutes of active strengthening + 30 minutes of passive stretching and relaxation
