Course Description
This continuing pharmacy education activity offers a historical exploration of how the pharmacist’s role and professional identity have transformed over two centuries. From early apprenticeships and compounding-focused practice to the emergence of clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care, the presentation traces key milestones in education, regulation, and healthcare integration. Participants gain insight into the shifting expectations of pharmacists, the development of educational standards, and the ongoing evolution toward patient-centered care and expanded clinical responsibilities.

Requirements
Credit requirements must be completed before the expiration date of the activity. Participants must watch the video in its entirety and completion of a post-test with a score of 80% or higher. Upon completion, credit will be transmitted electronically to the ACPE. All transmitted credit will be viewable in your CPE Monitor profile within 24 hours.
